ClearPath Healthcare's 43rd annual Festival of Trees takes place Saturday, December 5, 2026, at the Deschutes County Fair and Expo Center in Redmond, Oregon. Evening tickets went on sale Sunday, according to the organization. The event is ClearPath's largest fundraiser of the year and recently earned top honors as the best local nonprofit event in the 2026 Best of Central Oregon polls.
A free daytime preview and a ticketed evening gala
The day is split into two parts. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Family Fun Tree Preview is open to everyone at no charge and needs no ticket. Guests can stroll past more than 30 decorated trees, meet Santa, have cookies, hear local musicians and cast a ballot for the People's Choice Award. Organizers say the Kids Corner craft area is restored to its former size after two years of running on a smaller scale; Boulden Rogen Early Childhood Academy sponsors it.

The evening gala starts at 5 p.m. with dinner from Core Catering, then moves into raffles, a silent auction and a live auction of 33 trees, each decorated and given by a local business, family or community group. Formal dress is encouraged, but guests are told to wear what feels comfortable.
What is the Golden Ticket?
New this year, 100 golden necklaces sell for $100 apiece. One buyer will receive a complete tree package. The necklaces can be purchased alongside entry tickets online, or at the door if supplies last.
Where the money goes
All proceeds stay in Central Oregon. The 2025 edition brought in more than $223,000, according to ClearPath. The funds pay for hospice care, in-home primary care for adults 55 and over, the Transitions program, grief support, Camp Sunrise for bereaved children and teens, and Pet Peace of Mind. ClearPath, formerly Hospice of Redmond, says the money lets patients without insurance still receive hospice care.
Central Oregon Daily is the premier sponsor. Its general manager, Matt McDonald, said in a statement that his family used hospice services last year and that the event shows how many families depend on them.
Why you should go
- The preview is free. Families can see the trees, meet Santa and vote for a favorite without buying anything.
- Crafts are back at full size. The Kids Corner returns to its larger format after two scaled-back years.
- There are options for different budgets. The daytime visit costs nothing; the evening offers dinner, raffles and auctions for ticket holders.
- The auction is distinctive. Bidders compete for one of 33 decorated trees, and the gifts packed with each go to the winner.
- Proceeds stay local. The money supports free programs across the region.
