Tim McGraw will headline the 2027 Cavendish Beach Music Festival, returning to the P.E.I. main stage for the first time since the event's first year in 2009. Organizer Whitecap Entertainment announced the lineup on Wednesday, with Riley Green and Sam Barber also topping the bill for the festival, which runs July 8 to 10, 2027. Tickets are on sale now.

Who else is playing?

Eighteen acts were named in the first announcement, according to Whitecap CEO Ben Murphy. Beyond the three headliners, the bill includes Carter Faith, Jackson Dean, 49 Winchester, Blake Whiten, Josiah and the Bonnevilles, Noah Brigden and Lily Meola. Canadian performers include Thelma & James, Boy Golden, Annika Catharina, Abby Stewart, Jessica Sevier, Janna Leduc and Jason Scott & The High Heat. Organizers say more names will follow.

Why is Tim McGraw's return a big deal?

McGraw, a Grammy winner with 17 studio albums and more than three decades of hits, played the festival's inaugural edition in 2009. "Having Tim McGraw back on the main stage for the first time since our inaugural year in 2009 is a huge moment for us," Murphy said in a statement. Past Cavendish headliners have included Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton, Shania Twain and Kenny Chesney.
